A used car dealer with 25+ years in Most and Prague needed a site that sells, buys, and consigns cars without phone calls.
Context
Váš Volant sells verified used cars and buys or consigns cars from private owners and fleets. The business runs from two locations, Most and Prague, and offers financing, cleaning, and in house repairs. The website has to do three jobs at once: let buyers find the right car, let sellers get a valuation offer within 24 hours, and explain the consignment options clearly.
What I built
- Vehicle search with filters for brand, model, budget, body type, fuel, gearbox, year, mileage, drivetrain, and color.
- Featured listings with prices including VAT handling.
- A buyer form that captures preferences and returns tailored recommendations.
- A seller form that collects car details and photos for a valuation offer within 24 hours.
- Three tier consignment sales pages, B2B fleet section, FAQ, and legal pages.
- GDPR consent and cookie management for analytics and marketing pixels.
Highlights
Phone photos that do not break the upload
Sellers upload photos straight from their phones, often 10 MB each. Images are compressed in the browser before upload, which keeps the form fast on mobile data and keeps oversized uploads from stressing the server.
